Final

My final 'photoshoot' combined the cities and the people who i had photographed. i was heavily inspired by the work of fransesco Paleari, and his cityscape photography. it took me a while to figuire out what i wanted to do in terms of my project, but  I discovered wanted to combine people with buildings through overlay to get the desired effect, so I experimented with double exposure. The technique I used to edit my photos with either the 'overlay' or 'lighten' tool, so they blended into the background smoothly. Following that, I erased any harsh lines that made the two photos look separate, because i wanted them to come together to show the person and the place as a whole. I chose to make my photos black and white to link back in with my artist research as all of the artists I looked in to used black and white to portray emotion. Using black and white brought out not only the lighting, but to also a heavier shadow. With this effect, I feel as though the photos are now much more atmospheric than they were in colour. The contrast between the black and white set a mysterious tone, and creates a more ominous mood.
